Sales forecast

Sales forecasting is about trying to estimate future revenue whilst predicting how much of a product or service a business will sell. If a business has been trading for some time it will be able to use historical figures to see if there is a pattern. This trend can then be used to try to predict what will happen in the future.

If a business is new, research will have to be used to try to predict sales.
