Finding Competitors

Your research will have allowed you to find out who your competitors are. From that you will be able to make decisions regarding your marketing campaign in order to try to ensure that you, rather than the competition, win the customers’ business.

As already mentioned, you must bear in mind that you have direct competitors (who make the same product or provide the same service as you) and indirect competitors (who do not provide the same product or service but meet the same need).

The more you know about how your competitors attract customers, the better.

You can then choose whether to market in a similar way to your competitors or pursue a completely different approach.
